Both children as well as adults may suffer from gluten allergy. But children suffer more than adults from this disease. Children suffering from gluten allergy for a long time may suffer from abnormal weight loss which can hamper their growth .Rapid occurrence of Gluten allergy symptoms, moreover, may lead to some behavioural problems in children which may affect them in the long run. It can also result in delayed puberty, attention problem and extended abdomen in children .Some studies even suggest that gluten allergy may lead to Autism also.
