A relatively smaller number of people experience MSG allergy symptoms. Monosodium Glutamate or MSG in short is a food additive which acts as a flavor increaser. The symptoms of MSG vary from patient to patient as the intensity of the symptoms depends on the level of the patient’s sensitivity to MSG. In persons with serious sensitivity MSG allergy symptoms may turn into a deadly allergic reaction called Anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis is a medical emergency where a patient may experience difficulty in breathing, sudden fall of blood pressure and even fainting also.
