Pollen allergy is very common in human beings during the pollen season and a large number of human beings are affected by the symptoms every year.There are diverse pollen allergy symptoms which differ from person to person. When a person with pollen sensitivity inhales pollen its particles act as irritants which can cause some mast cells in the nasal passage in order to release histamine. This process results in a number of reactions. Pollen allergy symptoms depend on the route of the entry allergen and where the reaction takes place. Pollen allergy, whether pollen from tree, grass or weeds, may affect a number of organs like nose, throat, the syrinx ,trachea and many others resulting in a number of painful symptoms for the suffering individual. Some people who are allergic to pollen may develop a dreaded and painful disease like asthma if the symptoms affect them very frequently. In the initial stages asthma may occur occasionally or seasonally during pollen season but ultimately it can turn into a chronic condition also. When it reaches the chronic stage it can be very dangerous for the patient and in some rare but unfortunate cases it can become fatal also.

When a person experiencing pollen allergy symptoms also experiences some other symptoms like shortness of breath and wheezing along with chest tightness and pain we should know that his bronchial tubes have also been affected by the onslaught of the allergy and the person needs emergency medical help ,otherwise he may have serious implications.
