A number of people are allergic to shrimp, a shellfish. This is one of the most common allergies found in adults. A person attacked by shrimp allergy may experience some of these symptoms listed above and not all. Only in rare cases of severe sensitivity the allergy victim may suffer from all of these symptoms together. Shrimp allergy symptoms may in some rare occasions lead to a life threatening allergic reaction called Anaphylaxis .It is very dangerous and along with other functions it also attacks the cardiovascular system of the body. It is a medical emergency and should be treated by a doctor as soon as the symptoms begin to appear

• Difficulty in breathing due to the blockage in the airways to the lungs
• Extreme wheezing
• Drop in blood pressure
• Feeling of dizziness
• Felling of numbness in limbs
• Rapid and irregular heartbeat
• Loss of consciousness
